When is Honkai Star Rail Coming Out on PS5?
Honkai Star Rail will be available on the PlayStation 5 starting on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. They announced this date during the September 2023 State of Play event after HoYoverse said it would come out in the last part of 2023 during the Summer Game Fest earlier in the year. But, just to be clear, the game won’t be released on the older PlayStation 4.

How to Pre-Order for Honkai Star Rail PS5 Version?
Although the sign-up period for the Honkai Star Rail PlayStation beta has ended, gamers can still pre-register to have access to exciting rewards on the brand-new system. The technical test will begin on September 4 at 1 AM PT (4 AM ET/9 AM BST) for those who arrived on time.
Here’s what you have to do to pre-register for the PS5 edition of Honkai Star Rail:
- Visit the webpage for the Honkai Star Rail PS5 pre-registration.
- Select “Pre-Register Now” from the menu.
- Follow the instructions after logging in with the email address you use for your HoYoverse account.
- To complete the pre-registration, click Submit.

When Honkai Star Rail launches on PlayStation 5, players who log in will get a four-piece set of the Musketeer of Wild Wheat Relic. Additionally, by achieving pre-registration goals, all Trailblazers across all platforms will be able to earn various incentives, including:
- Credit ×10,000 for 100,000 registrations.
- Adventure Log ×5 for 300,000 registrations.
- Condensed Aether x1 for 600,000 registrations.
- A 4-star Light Cone “The Seriousness of Breakfast (Erudition)” for 1,000,000 registrations.

Does Honkai Star Rail Have Cross-Progression?
Cross-progression means that you can use the same account and data across different platforms. For example, if you play Honkai Star Rail on your PC and then switch to your mobile device, you can continue where you left off without losing any progress or items.
Honkai Star Rail supports cross-progression across PC, Android, and iOS devices. HoYoverse confirmed this in their official FAQ. However, you cannot transfer your data to servers in other regions. So make sure you choose the server that suits you best before you start playing.
Does Honkai Star Rail Have Crossplay?
The Honkai Star Rail’s developers have not yet explicitly said that crossplay will be available when it launches. It’s not yet known whether players on those servers will be able to play together on various platforms, despite cross-progression allowing users to move account data across multiple devices.
Genshin Imact, HoYoverse’s second free-to-play game, enables crossplay on PC, consoles, and mobile devices, it’s crucial to mention. It’s not a given that Honkai Star Rail would support crossplay, but it wouldn’t be shocking if it did.
