The Lamplighters League Trailers
There have been two trailers for The Lamplighters League. The first one was revealed on March 6, 2023, during the Paradox Announcement Show. It was mainly a CGI trailer that featured three characters exploring an ancient tomb and then facing enemy soldiers and a mysterious beast.
The announcement trailer also briefly showed gameplay elements like turn-based combat, the world hub map, an agent selection screen, and more.
The second trailer for the game came out online shortly after the Paradox Announcement Show. It provided a deeper look at the gameplay and included interviews with the developers.
The Lamplighters League Gameplay
The Lamplighters League is mainly a turn-based strategy game, but it also includes real-time gameplay elements. It features meta mechanics such as a world map, and you can choose your agents for missions. Will Outlast Trials Be on PlayStation?
In the real-time strategy part of the game, you’ll have action points that determine your actions, grid-based movement, percentage-based hit chances, different types of cover, various abilities, and more. These battles occur during missions, where you’ll have turn-based combat to complete primary objectives and optional side tasks.

Before you engage in turn-based combat, there’s a real-time mode where you can freely explore the map, mark enemies, find important spots, and more. A developer explained that in this mode, you can quietly eliminate some foes before starting a noisy battle, giving you a small edge.
As for the map, we have limited details about it, but it appears to be a tool for choosing missions and monitoring your overall advancement. Regarding characters, we have scant information on how they function, but it seems you can recruit additional characters as you progress through the story.
