Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Gameplay, Trailer, Weapons and more!

A gameplay video for Modern Warfare 3’s new Zombies mode has been released. Call of Duty collaborated with OffLimits. The video shows off the upcoming Zombies mode, introducing a new environment and weapons in just a few seconds of gameplay.

MW3 Zombies is a new feature for Modern Warfare 3. It alters the horde survival mode by providing players with a whole PvE open-world experience. The plot is interesting and relates to the Black Ops Cold War.

The cinematic trailer was recently released, and players were ecstatic and couldn’t wait for additional information about the game mode. We haven’t acquired many specifics yet, but a recent video revealed the gameplay, which surprised everyone.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Gameplay

Players will be able to immerse themselves in an “open-world, player-versus-environment” gaming experience in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies in order to survive and combat overwhelming hordes of zombies in the “largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever.”

Unlike earlier Zombies incarnations, MW3’s version provides a more “cooperative experience,” allowing players to join other squads rather than being limited to joining a four-player team. MW3 Zombies offers eight teams of three to 24 players who can work together to assimilate and complete objectives.

During the COD Next event, the developers discussed the Zombies mode in depth. Zones were one of the gaming ideas they discussed. Zones in MW3 Zombies will determine the amount of threat that players must cope with. In other words, Zones, like rounds in earlier Zombies games, reflect the active difficulty level.

This zombie adventure incorporates gameplay elements from DMZ and Outbreak. As a result, players should expect a 45-minute countdown followed by a 15-minute window in which they must exfil. As you proceed through the tale acts, a successful exfil leads to story growth.

Despite the shift in gameplay, fans will be pleased to hear that traditional staples such as pack-a-punch, mystery boxes, and Perk machines are returning to the mode. In MW3 Zombies, operator slots identical to those found in DMZ will be available.

While Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is an entirely new experience and departure from the standard Zombies gameplay that gamers have come to expect, the developers have teased that classic Easter egg quests would be added after the game’s release.

Call of Duty has released a cinematic video for Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, giving gamers a first glimpse at the mode as well as an introduction to the game’s plot and its integration with the Black Ops Zombies universe.

The cinematic teaser shows the arrival of Viktor Zakhaev, a prominent ultranationalist arms trader and Task Force 141 enemy. Zakhaev and his crew successfully uncover two vials holding a powerful chemical within a highly guarded container.

A shootout breaks out as military police arrive in response to security alarms. Zakhaev tosses one vial at his attackers before fleeing, causing a purple fog to be released, smothering the police and rapidly transforming them into zombies. Instead of showing terror, Zakhaev smiles contentedly, appreciating the weapon’s potency.

Viktor Zakhaev will confront Captain Price’s Task Force 141 in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. When a helicopter arrives at an outbreak site, SSO Kate Laswell and Sergeant Johnny “Soap” MacTavish brief an unidentified Operator on Operation Deadbolt. Black Ops Sergei Ravenov and SSO Greene are also on the team.

They have information indicating that Zakhaev was planning something a few months ago, but the specifics are unknown.  Another teaser debuted during the COD Next event, providing more about the gameplay and overall Zombies experience that players will encounter in Modern Warfare 3.

This trailer, which was released on October 5, also gives a clearer look at the Warzone Urzikstan map, which will be the setting for your Zombie’s exploits in MW3. Overall, that’s all we know about the Zombies mode so far. Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Storyline

As a part of Operation Deadbolt, the story for Modern Warfare Zombies in Call of Duty MW3 will take you to the new Zombies map. After a mercenary company known as Terminus Outcomes takes the final supplies of Aetherium with plans to weaponize it, you’re tasked with preventing them from collecting the resource further.

Unfortunately, Terminus caused an incursion that allows zombies to spread and infect the map, so you’ll have to contend with hordes of the undead while on your quest. Things can never be simple, can they?

In Operation Deadbolt, players take on the role of Task Force 141 Operatives under the command of SSO Kate Laswell and SSO Selma Greene, attempting to neutralize the threat posed by the Exclusion Zone. That means ‘Soap’ MacTavish will be spearheading the fight against Zakhaev and Terminus.

The much larger consequences for the tale, though, are that you’ll be dealing with not only the zombie menace but also a human threat via the Terminus group, which is new to the mode.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Easter Egg

Fans of Call of Duty Zombies understand that the main incentive to play is to fulfill the Easter Egg. Every Zombies map contains an Easter Egg that demands players to solve complex puzzles in order to go through a tale and uncover exciting new material.

There will be no Easter eggs in Modern Warfare 3 at launch, but Treyarch plans to introduce them later in patches alongside more objectives, according to CharlieIntel. It’s unclear whether they’ll be of any substance, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies will at least have a meaty primary objective at its center that doesn’t require an Easter Egg to finish or comprehend.

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Weapons

So far, the CRBR-S, a high-powered rifle from Call of Duty Cold War Zombies, is the only Call of Duty MW3 Zombies Wonder Weapon we’ve seen. This was discovered by the dedicated Zombies community immediately after the dedicated Zombies cinematic trailer and was noted on Twitter by ‘Detonated.

‘The CRBR-S can be spotted on a shelf, cloaked in shadows and cobwebs, much like the famed Monkey Bomb, which is making a comeback. There will be several other Call of Duty MW3 Zombies Wonder Weapons, but their identities have not yet been revealed.

Call of Duty MW3 Zombies Developers

Treyarch, who developed most Zombies modes in past Call of Duty games and Black Ops titles, is developing Modern Warfare Zombies for MW3. The Treyarch team is leading Modern Warfare Zombies despite not developing Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer.
