Lies of P Release Date, Gameplay, Trailer, and More

In September, a new game called “Lies of P” will take you to a city that’s full of problems and confusion. It’s a different version of the Pinocchio story, where you’ll have to battle your way through a place called Krat.

As you play, you’ll discover that the Pinocchio story isn’t all nice and happy – it’s actually pretty dark. You’ll also have to solve puzzles and find hidden messages in the game to understand what’s going on in this strange world.

On May 19, 2021, a South Korean company called NeoWiz told everyone about a new game called Lies of P. A lot of people are excited about this game because it looks spooky and kind of like other games where you fight tough monsters.

The game is coming out soon, and we’re starting to learn more about what it will be like. Let’s talk about what we know about Lies of P.

Lies of P Release Date

Lies of P is coming out on September 19, 2023. That’s a bit more than three years after Neowiz first told us about it on May 19, 2021. Even though it’s almost here, we’ve only recently learned more about what makes the game interesting, like its cool fights and setting, even though it has some sad themes.

Lies of P Platforms

Lies of P will be on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be on Xbox Game Pass. Many people liked the demo that was released recently, so it might become one of the top games on Xbox Series X and PS5 when it comes out later this year. At least, it will be a good game on Game Pass because it will be there from the beginning.

  • “Lies of Pie” is going to be available on PS5, PS4, and Xbox. Now, let’s find out when “Outlast Trials” will be released on these consoles.

Lies of P Gameplay

In the 2023 Xbox Extended Showcase, there was a special ten-minute presentation where we got to see how the game Lies of P will actually be played. They also let us try out a demo of the game before it officially comes out in September.

Just like in other “Soulslike” games, fighting is a big deal in this game. You can make your own way of fighting by using different weapons together, improving your special arm as you play, and using the powers you gain while playing.

You can take weapons apart into parts like the sharp part and the part you hold. These parts have their own special qualities and movements. You can mix and match these parts to make a weapon that fits how you like to fight.

You can also make your weapon stronger to make it last longer, but be careful because it can get weaker each time you use it. Luckily, Pinnochio can fix any damage to the weapon.

In the game, besides regular fighting, you should also learn special fighting moves called “fable arts.” To use these moves, you need to collect fable slots during regular fights. You can choose the skills you like to match your fighting style.

These skills help you defeat your enemies or weaken them so you can deliver a powerful attack and cause a lot of damage. You can use these special moves in regular fights and big boss battles.

But what makes Lies of P really interesting is that it’s not just about fighting. When you talk to other characters in the game, you’ll have to make some important decisions.

You can choose to tell the truth and make people sad, or you can lie and make them feel really bad. These choices will shape the rest of your story, and they will have consequences as you continue your adventure in Krat and try to reach your final objective.

Lies of P Trailer

On June 8, during the Summer Game Fest 2023 event, they showed a new trailer for the Lies of P video game. This trailer gave us more information about the city of Krat and what the game’s fighting and exploring will be like.

The trailer has a lot of cool animation. It begins with a spooky voice waking up Pinnochio, and then it shows us different places in the game while playing beautiful French music that reminds us of a special time in history called the Belle Epoque.

Also, we get a quick glimpse of fighting in the game. It includes tough boss battles and regular fights with enemies. However, apart from that, they didn’t show much of the game’s content.

Lies of P Story

Lies of P is about Pinocchio, a puppet who looks like a person. He suddenly finds himself in a very messy and crazy train station in a city called Krat. This story is a strange version of the original Pinocchio tale, where Pinocchio has a tough time dealing with all the chaos and wants to become a real person. He’s also trying to find the person who made him, Geppetto.

Pinocchio tells lots of lies, and that’s not good for him. There are many scary creatures and people who can’t be trusted between you and your goal. When you play alone in the story mode, it matches the feeling of being alone in Krat.

There are already many great solo games on Xbox Game Pass, but Lies of P has a chance to be one of the very best. As you go through tough and complicated situations, where you have to fight against enemies, you’ll have to make important decisions and choose your own way in the dark story.

The city of Krat is in big trouble and looks really scary. It’s where the whole game happens. This city used to be doing great because it made puppets, but now it’s covered in blood and falling apart. It’s getting all chaotic, just like the really big enemies you’ll have to fight.

The map in Lies of P is inspired by a beautiful historical period called the Belle Époque. It looks really enchanting, but underneath, it’s kind of scary. Even though the game might not be a full-on horror game, the setting makes us wonder if it could be one of the best horror games in the future because of its spooky vibes.
