Wriothesley, a new character from Genshin Impact, was just demoed. He’s a strong Cryo catalyst user who was introduced by Hoyoverse in August before the Fontaine area ever existed. HoYoverse already included several new characters in version 4.1, such as the valiant Chief Justice Neuvillette.
Now that the banner with Neuvillette and Hu Tao is complete, it’s time to introduce some new special characters. Wriothesley and Venti will be the next restricted five-star characters in the second phase of the update, according to Genshin Impact 4.1.

Genshin Impact often creates videos to showcase their new characters. They just published one about a Cryo Catalyst named Wriothesley in a film titled “Art of Improvisation.” Wriothesley defeats challenging foes in the video to show off his amazing fighting abilities.
We don’t know much about Wriothesley save that he was a prisoner in Fontaine’s primary jail, the Fortress of Meropide. But now that he’s in control of the institution, he’s made significant changes to how it operates.
Despite his intimidating appearance in Fontaine, Wriothesley is a calm individual who wishes to be fair to everybody. He received a prestigious title from Palais Mermonia, which is a major event in Hydro Nation. He prefers battling up close in combat, despite the fact that he employs catalysts like Shikanoin Heizou.
Wriothesley is the first Genshin Impact character to employ Cryo attacks just by striking his weapon, a Cryo catalyst, normally. This makes him a great contender for teams in need of a Cryo damage dealer. Some fans believe that Cryo has recently been less popular as a result of the new Dendro elemental reactions provided by HoYoverse.
